How We Design Custom Jewelry
Our custom jewelry design process is rooted in collaboration, mixed with a combination of creativity and precision. From hearing your initial idea to the final polish, we work closely with you to ensure the finished piece matches your vision and feels distinctly "you."
1. Initial Consultation: Your custom jewelry journey starts with a personal consultation, where we take time to understand your style preferences, inspirations, budget, and the occasion behind your piece. You can bring in a sketch, a photo, or just an idea. We'll talk through the possibilities and figure out how we can bring it to life.
2. Concept Sketches and CAD Design: Once we understand your vision, our design team creates hand-drawn sketches or computer-aided design (CAD) models. These detailed renderings help you visualize the piece before it goes into production. You'll be able to provide feedback and make any changes during this stage.
3. Wax Model and Approval: For many pieces, we'll produce a wax or resin model so you can see and feel the design in three dimensions. This step allows you to examine the scale and shape before we cast in precious metal.
4. Casting and Stone Setting: Once you approve the model, we move into casting the piece using high-quality metals such as gold, platinum, or silver. Our expert jewelers then set your gemstones.
5. Final Polish and Presentation: The final stage includes polishing, finishing, and quality checks to ensure your custom piece is flawless. When it's complete, you'll receive a one-of-a-kind treasure that will last for generations.
